DARFILE.COM – CDex is a free CD Ripper software and helps extract data that you have in Audio CD in a fast and easy way.

CDex is an application that records audio tracks from a CD and saves them to a disk as a regular WAV file or as an encoded sound file. This program has a decoder (MPEG 1/2/3-based) and an LAME encoder, and has support for producing OGG Vorbis files.

In addition to a tool that can do various kinds of things related to audio. The main focus is on ripping and converting, as changing your Compact Disc collection into an MP3 collection on your hard drive is very easy. By using support for a number of encoders, you will not lack options for your media files.

A very good feature of CDex is the ability to transcode one other compressed file format, while EAC does not have this option. It also has a recording feature directly from the incoming analog.
